In Afrikaans, this is a copy of one of the series of five drawn by T O Honiball, who was well-known as Cape Town newspaper cartoonist from the 1940s to the 1960s.
The limp covers, printed in blue and green, are creased and the contents are sunned towards the edges. Originally published at two shillings a volume, copies of these cartoons have become collectable.
