A colour reproduction of a painting by Gontsharova is printed on the front and back covers of this limp-cover edition of Jar-Ptitza, bound with brown tape at the spine. The inside covers are plain and unfoxed. There are no endpapers. The binding is cracked between advertising pp ii/iii. 32 pp of gloss art paper printed in b/w with 5 colour illustrations tipped in + 3 inserted heavy cartridge leaves with colour illustrations tipped in + 4 pp of Russian text + 6 pp of advertisements + 8 pp of German text and graphics + 6 further pp of advertisements including 2 colour illustrations tipped in - all unmarked and undiscoloured.
Other artists represented include Maliavina, Golovina, Orlova, Lipschitz and Fedder, while there are photographs of leading ballet dancers Romanoff, Smirova, Obukoff, Kruger and (K) Pavlova.
