A colour reproduction of a painting by Grigorieff of Katshalov as Czar Feodor with a gilt frame by Benson is printed on the front cover of this limp-cover issue of Jar-Ptitza, bound with brown tape at the spine. The inside covers are unfoxed but the back cover has some set-off and is spotted. There are no endpapers. The binding is cracked between the inside front cover and the text-block. iv + 32 pp of gloss art paper illustrated in colour and b/w with a colour paintng by Grigorieff tipped in on p 1 + 2 inserted heavy cartridge leaves, one wth a colour illustration tipped in + 8 pp of advertisements + 4 pp of German text and graphics + 8 further pp of advertisements + an advertisement printed on the inside back cover - all unmarked and undiscoloured.
Other artists represented include Sorin, Marc Chagall and Sakharova, while there are photographs of leading ballet dancers Eduardova and Bekeffi.
