This is copy number 78 of 100 de luxe copies bound in full leather of the 1969 Struik facsimile reprint of the 1818 L.B. Seeley edition. The entire print run of the Struik reprint was limited to 1,000 copies, the standard edition was bound in cloth. The original full leather binding has gilt tilting and decorations on the spine. Marbled paper motif end papers. Black and white frontis portrait, title page, 44 page introduction by Frank R. Bradlow, followed by the facsimile of the 1818 edition with vii prelims, 406 pages, fold out map, 13 colour plates, 3 black and white illustrations, followed by 2 pages of the publisher's advertisements. CONDITION DETAILS: Internally clean, but the bumped top corners left corner creases at the top of the book block, i.e., all text and illustrations have a crease at the top right hand corner. The frontis portrait - see image - has creases and a closed tear.
