Green cloth boards, gilt tiger design to panel and gilt lettering to spine. The spine is sunned and the covers, though still firm, are rubbed and bumped. The plain free endpapers are partly sunned and there is an ownership signature on the ffep. The x + 168 pp are unmarked and bright, as are the frontispiece and five other monochrome plates.
