This is a rare Danish edition of a grossly inaccurate chart of Saldana Bay - this shape of the bay dominated mapping of the bay until the mid-18th century. The map was published by Niels Hansen in 1751 and is based on a n earlier edition first published by the famous Nicolas Belli of the French Depot de Marine.
The chart has outline colour, is in fine conditions on firm, watermarked paper. This is a great conversion piece for anyone with an interest in Saldana Bay.
