(Small adhesive tape repair to folding map [see images]). Publisher’s brown half Morocco over marbled paper-covered boards by Ringer & Hertzberg for A.C. McClurg & Co., spines decorated in gilt, marbled endpapers, top edges of book-blocks (very slight fading to spines).
A very fine set of the second edition of an excellent re-issue with facsimiles (probably lithographs) of the maps included in the 1814 edition.
