Red cloth boards with black titles to the top board and black titles to the spine, Macmillan logo in black to the bottom board. Fading to the spine and edge wear, marks and scuffs to the boards.The name of a previous owner in ink on the front end paper. Foxing and discolouration to the front and back end papers, minor age tanning to the rest of the pages. The binding is good.
These letters are reprinted as they originally appeared in the columns of The Times. At The request of some of the most prominent men in South Africa from across the political spectrum. This was done to aid the general public in their understanding of South African affairs at the time.
