Large ownership inscription to reverse of ffep (which has been folded) opposite the signing page else the book unmarked internally. Externally Fine and unmarked. Otherwise unmarked the slipcase has a small mark on front edge else in Fine condition.
Copy No.445 of 1000. Signed by Nelson Mandela. As the owners inscription states this was a gift to the owner from the South African publisher's agent, and this is where the custom slipcase originated. Images on request. Note that this limited edition with the publisher's limitation page automatically carries an authentic Mandela signature. There is no need for so-called 'authentication certificates' as offered with many of the standard editions purportedly signed by Mandela. This is a genuine Mandela signature, there is no way it could be otherwise.
