Condition: red pictorial boards very good, vol.2 being brighter than vol.1, the latter suffering some damp staining to both front and rear, text blocks of both very good (sunned due to age), end-papers in very good condition, vol.1 cracked at pp.96/7.
Both volumes bear the following on f.f.e.p.'s: 'J.Van Heerden, Normal College, Cape Town, December 1900.'
