This school book was compiled by Thomas Young in English and translated into Dutch by ex-President Reitz, from the various historical works of Theal. Theal's works were greatly plagiarized at the time and this was the only school book compiled from his work and published with his permission. It was also produced in English and Afrikaans. 232 Pages with an index. There are stains on pages 142 and 143, but the rest of the text is in very good condition.
