There are numerous encounters with lion, leopard and a variety of plains game including both greater and lesser kudu, oryx, hartebeest, various species of gazelle and dik-dik. Original tan cloth with blue and black-stamped illustrated vignettes across both boards and front, rear, and spine. Cloth age- soiled and rubbed, small tear to center of spine. Original endpapers, front inner hinge started and rear inner hinge firm. Foxing to contents. Well illustrated with photo plates and text drawings.
