A massive production, 1966 facsimile of one of the truly great color plate rarities. Includes the publisher’s announcement regarding a replacement page for the description of plate LVIII, which the owner ordered and laid-in, with folded hinge edge.
Unfortunately, something has worn away part of the lower edge of both boards, primarily the rear cover and grey facsimile wrappers bound at end, including some staining. Text and plate pages show only a hint of this damage. See images.
