Grey paper boards, spine sunned, corners bumped, strengthened with clear tape. Plain endpapers, lightly sunned, map pocket with large folded map pasted to the front paste-down. Still tightly bound. xiv + 1310 pp of text and index, tables, 11 further folding maps, 2 plates (1 folding) - all unmarked and undiscoloured. The cover needs a proper repair and one folding map needs refolding. Otherwise a sound, clean copy.

This is a wonderful reference book, and one marvels at the quality and value for money of some of the books then produced - this year-book was priced at five shillings - remarkable even if heavily subsidised by the state.
