2 volumes, 52 + 47 pages, each volume with 8 colour plates (1 as the
frontispiece), quarter vellum gilt, marbled paper sides, top edges gilt, decorated endpapers, contained in slip cases of red and green cloth with title labels on the front, a very good set.
The colour plates have been printed in 8-colour photo-litho-offset by Van Leer of Amsterdam. The text has been set in 18-point Monotype Caslon Old Face and printed by the Chiswick Press, London.
Part One bound by Edward Hiscox of London and Part Two by Zaehnsdorf.
Copies numbered 1 to 160 are signed by the artist and authors.

Richie A58. ‘Part One published on 27 June 1955 at £15 15s 0d. in an edition of of 160 copies numbered 1 – 160. The cololphon suggests that the artist’s signature should appear on p. [2] along with those of Sitwell and Russell, but it is lacking from the three copies inspected.’
