How it works

Register

A selection of letters contributed to the Morning Post (London). Covers engagements at Elandslaagte, Tinta Inyoni, Dundee, Ladysmith, & Mafeking, the last two of which in some detail. An embossed stamp denotes that this book was a gift from the publisher. An elusive title.

Gilt title on red cloth boards. 413pp illustrated 4 folding maps (2 of Mafeking & 2 of Ladysmith). 8vo.

No inscription. ownership stamp to title page and embossed stamp as well. edges & eps well tanned. hinges starting but still sound. one map torn but without loss. spine fading, spot on front board has lost colour, main text pretty clean but some few pages foxed, overall a fairly clean G++ copy.
