CONDITION. The dustjacket is complete but spine and edge-chipped. The boards are fine except for light shelf-rubbing. The binding remains tight. The contents are complete, unmarked except for an ownership signature on the front free endpaper, and undiscoloured.
This landmark book, which was compiled and published with care and affection nearly sixty years ago, has, over the years, with its extensive reproduction of examples from all the main sites, made a major contribution to knowledge of African rock art.
