This is the last list of the South African public service establishment before the National Party came into government in 1948.
Full-bound in red pebble-cloth boards with gilt titling to the upper board. Plain endpapers. x + 437 pp of text.
A tear has started at the top join between the upper board and the spine. The hinges remain intact but the binding has loosened slightly. There is a library stamp as well as two stamped numbers on the front free endpapers. There are no ownership or other marks and the endpapers and text are undiscoloured.
