This set is complete and uniformly bound in red pebble-cloth boards, blind embossed with gilt design and lettering.

("Charivari" was the French satirical periodical on which Punch, though as English as John Bull, was based.)

CONDITION NOTES. Several volumes in this set require simple binding repairs. The binding of 13 of the 25 volumes is good but for the balance the book-blocks need to be reattached to the spines and endpapers and strengthened. Four of the latter volumes also have chips to the tops of the upper panels. There are no ownership or other marks and no page discolouration.
