How it works

An excellent work on sport in Southern India, this provides a mixture of hunting in the jungles and mountains of the region. Hamilton includes chapters on his experiences shooting ibex in the hill country, tiger, bison, antelope, and other game. Original front gilt pictorial cover and rear cover re-cased with a newer green cloth spine with darker green leather spine labels. Covers edge worn and marked. Scattered foxing especially to the early prelim matter. Illustrated with a tipped-in photo of the author as a frontispiece, illustrated plates, and text drawings. A good, serviceable copy of a heavy book that will require higher overseas postage.
