Blue Book RP 12/64. [M P] G J van L Froneman's copy. Afrikaans and English in parallel columns.

The blue wraps, black to the front only, are chipped at the head of the spine and have 12 and 40 mm tears at the foot of the spine. They are drawn on to the sewn book-block. The plain endpapers are unmarked and undiscoloured. The contents are fine, saving a few pencil markings and brief notes - no less than lii + 555 pp of text, appendixes and index + no fewer than 64 inserted large folding maps and charts, all but one or two in full colour. An original printed copy of the 4 pp list of errata is loosely inserted, making this a complete copy.

Regardless of the intentions of the government of the day and the subsequent constitutional changes, this document remains an essential and authoritative source-book for the present Namibia, researched and written as it was by as fine a team as one could expect - some of the leading authorities of the day in their various fields, - and all, except for the chairman, doctors and/or professors: H J van Eck, H W Snyman, J P van S Bruwer, P J Quinn (members) and C J Claassen (secretary).

This is an excellent copy.
