Jessie M Lloyd's original list (1960) has been added to and corrected where necessary by Constance Parry, on behalf of the Rhodesia Pioneers' and Early Settlers' Society. The reasons for this, and the names of others who assisted with the revision are given in an introduction by Constance Parry. There is a detailed Bibliography, a note from the Society's secretary, the original Preface by Jessie m Lloyd and a foreword by R.C.Tredgold. The frontispiece of this small book is a black-and-white photograph of Jessie Lloyd. Of special interest is that this book was presented to an early pioneer woman in recognition of her status as a Pioneer of Rhodesia, and the presentation document is attached to the inside front cover.
The book cover is soft, blue card, sunned and faded on part of the front cover, back and spine edges. The cover is, however, whole and the binding is firm.
