Presented to both Houses of Parliament by Command of His Majesty. Royal Commission on the War in South Africa, 1903. Half leather, 720 pages, gilt lettered POSTMASTER GENERAL on front cover. Previous owner's signature on second page, 220 x 325mm, spine has been repaired. Corners show wear. Condition: fair

Evidence to the Royal Commission is taken from witnesses. They include, Baden-Powell, Redvers Buller, Arthur Conan Doyle, Sir John French, Douglas Haig, The Lord Lovat, The Lord Methuen and Sir George White.

Appendicies include, Ladysmith Seige Correspondence and Distribution for Border Defence of existing Garrison of Cape Colony, 18th October 1899.
