Five one pound share certificate made out in the name of A R E Burton (writer of \'Cape Colony for the Settler\' and \'Cape Colony Today\') for this syndicate, which was floated by C Kolemann, who was to be closely associated with the Transvaal diggings a few years later. The share certificate is signed by J W D Buchanan, Frank E Cartwright and C J B Haggett. Very good condition. Burton has signed on the back as seller when he disposed of his share to F C Cornell, from whose estate this comes.
