This is a genuine leaf from a Choirbook.  It was written by hand ca. 1600.  Text written in a large gothic hand in black ink with five-line staves and rubrics in red.  Large initial “A” in red with blue penwork opens an "Alleluia".  Text on recto is taken from Psalm 132:17.  This is a prayer for the fulfilling of a promise made to David.  Size: 20 1/2 x 15 inches.  (Slight evidence of an early repair to lower left margin, otherwise in very fine condition.)
