Johnson, W. Fletcher. Life of Sitting Bull and history of the Indian war of 1890–91. The Red Record of the Sioux. Edgewood Publishing Company, copyright date 1891. Original brick red cloth covers with painted and stamped front cover of portraits and a scene depicting the “Ghost Dance.” 606 pp., illustrated from photographs.  VG, hinges intact, paper, though pulp toned, neither chipped nor especially brittle.  Covers rubbed, corners lightly bumped.  

Together with 6  titles, representing a cross-section of 19 century American history‘s books in original cloth bindings. Overall condition is good or better, scuffing, worn edges, commensurate with age. See images.
