The green cloth-boards, with gilt lettering to the spine, are extensively rubbed, bumped and frayed. The binding remains tight. The endpapers have various legal office stamps, with seven blocks of inked erasures at the front. There is a binding crack near the front with gauze visible. The xii + 507 pp of text, appendix, cases cited and index are unmarked and undiscoloured, making this a good reference copy to the laws in force 85 years ago.
