These photographs were taken by South African Military Personnel during the big push of the East African Campaign fought in Horn of Africa during 1940-41. Also present are photographs of the forces of Italy, the opposing forces during the campaign through Somaliland, Eritrea, and Ethiopia. Taken by South Africans on the spot, with captured Italian photographs.
