The six books in this lot are: 1)Hickey, W.A.(Compiler): \"Gedenkalbum - Souvenir Album - Brits 1924-1974.\" The bulk of the text is in Afrikaans. Original dark green simulated leather boards with gilt titling on the spine and the upper board. Signed by the mayor. 104 pages, profusely illustrated in both full colour and black and white. Published by Brits Drukkery, Brits. A few signs of use, but overall a nice clean copy. 2)Rosenthal, Eric: \"A History of Fish Hoek 1818-1968.\" The text is in English. Original pale blue cloth boards with gilt titling and decoration on the upper board. 4 prelims, 68 pages, black and white photographic illustrations. Published by the Fish Hoek Chamber of Commerce, 1968. The binding has some scarring, but internally fresh and clean. 3) Stals, E.L.P.: \"George - Die Verhaal van die Dorp en die Distrik - The Story of the Town and District.\" The text is fully bilingual, in both Afrikaans and English. Original navy blue simulated leather boards with gilt titling on the spine and the upper board. xiv prelims, 113 pages, coat of arms in full colour, black and white illustrations. Published by the George municipality and Divisional Council, 1961. This book is clean and in good condition. 4) (Text in Afrikaans only) Oberholster, J.J.: \"Wepener 1869-1969.\" Original red simulated leather boards with gilt titling and the coat of arms on the upper board only. 170 pages, coat of arms in full colour and black and white illustrations. Published by the City Council of Wepener, Bloemfontein, 1969. A clean copy. 5) (Text in Afrikaans) Uys, Prof. Dr. C.J.: \"Rouxville (1863 -1963).\" Original red boards with black titling on the upper board. 170 pages, coat of arms in full colour, black and white illustrations, fold out map at the rear. This copy has a pen name, otherwise internally clean. The binding is a bit worn and soiled. 6) (Text in English) Schauder, Colin D.: \"The Historic Village of Bethelsdorp.\" Limited edition - copy number 76 of 500. Original grey coloured boards with black titling on the upper board. 8 prelims, 25 pages, illustrated in black and white. Published by the Historical Society of Port Elizabeth and Walmer (Series No 2.), edited by A. Porter, 1970. This copy is fresh and clean - good condition.
