Oppenheimer Library bookplate with cancelled stamp on front paste down. The Oppenheimer Library developed from the Africana collections of Sir Ernest Oppenheimer and Harry Oppenheimer - the founders and CEO's of De Beers Diamonds Mining Co. Today it is called the Brenthurst Library and houses some of the most valuable manuscripts, paintings, pamphlets, and books reflecting South Africa's colourful and epic early history.
