Frontispiece, 119 pages of letterpress, 60 colour plates and 18 figures – 2 double-page, full brown leather gilt, edges uncut, light foxing throughout – heaviest on the preliminary and final pages, contained in a grey buckram slip case with a leather lip. 

The first edition of SOUTHERN RHODESIA consists of 420 copies, 388 numbered copies.

5 copies numbered I to V, printed on pure rag paper made by hand at the Moulin de Val de Laga, Auvergne.

The book was designed by Arnold Fawcus, and produced in France for the Singer-Polignac, Foundation, Paris by the Trianon Press, Château de Boissea, Clairvaux, Jura and 125 Avenue du Maine, Paris.
