How it works

Register

Half-bound in tan calf and mottled cloth-boards. English only.

The compilation is valuable in the same way as other lots in this auction for its comprehensive survey of the provisions applying to "the native territories" in the colonial years leading up to Union.

The spine and leather corners are rubbed, with 40 mm "half-tears" beginning at the upper joins between the spine and the boards. The endpapers are sunned, with a partial crack at the front. "Parliamentary Draftsmen" in blue crayon on the front free endpaper. The sunning continues on the leaves adjacent to the free endpapers, but the rest of the volume - xlix + 612 pp + appendixes and index paginated li-xciii - is unmarked and undiscoloured.

This is an attactive copy.
