Seton-Karr was a famous sportsman who penned several books recounting his big game hunting experiences worldwide. In this work, he continues his adventures hunting reindeer in Norway, ibex in Corsica and Sardinia, fly-fishing for trout in Sweden and Finland, stalking mule deer in the Rockies, hunting mountain goats in the Cascades, etc. Of Asian interest are his chapters on hunting barasingh near Mt. Kotwal in Kashmir and antelope in India’s Bikaner region. Original red cloth with gilt spine titles. Spine head worn. Small nick to edge of front joint. Original black endpapers, inner hinges starting. This copy free of foxing.
