Original dust jackets. Original dark blue simulated leather bindings with gilt titling on the spines. Silk place markers. Decorated end papers. Volume 1 has ci prelims and 785 pages. Volume 2 has xv prelims and 732 pages. Volume 1 has 48 colour photographs of geographic habitats. The birds are illustrated with black and white drawings and the distribution maps are red and black.
