Navy cloth boards with gilt lettering on the spines, wear to the corners of the boards and tops of the spines, some scuffing and marking to boards. Intermittent foxing and discolouration to the pages. Exlibris labels on the reverse side of top boards. Volume one has a small tear, 1cm to the top front end paper.
Prolifically illustrated with map, colour plates and illustrations.
