This is the first of Lawrence Green's early titles published in prewar London. The 'Coast Of Treasure' alluded to in the title is the coast of what was then German South West Africa, now Namibia. The author ranges further than that, from Table Bay to St Helena, Ascension Island, the Southern Ocean islands including Tristan Da Cunha, Gough, Thompson & Lindsay, Kergeulen, Hog, Possession, St Paul, & Bouvet Islands.
