Despite the usual reservations about ex-library books, this copy would merit very good condition without the library, stamps, labels and barcode on the endpaper verso, half-title nd title pages. Endpapers and balance of bookblock are clean.
Signed by the author. Ink dedicaton on the frontispiece verso. Tipped-in colour frontispiece. Profusely illustrated. Three-fold b/w plate opposite p 278 but slightly proud of bookblock.
