Quarter leather boards and  maroon cloth with gilt titles to the spine, ex-library  gilt emblem to the top board. Edge wear, scuffs, marks and deterioration to the spine in particular. Ex-library due date paper tipped in to the front end paper and stamped, this edition belonged to D. Fivaz at The Department of African Languages at Rhodes University, Grahamstown. ( Name and title tipped in to the top of the end paper. Ex-library card to the reverse side of the bottom board, stamps to the opposite page. Intermittent foxing and age tanning to the pages. The binding holds.
