This facsimile reprint of the 1912 London edition was limited to 526 copies, of which this copy is out of series and has no number. It was purchased from the bindery of master craftsman Peter Carstens and is contained in a slip case covered in green book cloth, with hand marbled paper edges and leather trim. The leather binding is a darker shade of green than the issued books, and has dark red title labels on the spine. The marbled paper of the binding matches that of the slip case. Dark green end papers. 54 pages of introduction which include photographic portraits of the author and the illustrator, who was later known as Finch-Davies after his marriage to Aileen Finch, and a colour frontispiece. This is followed by a facsimile of the London edition which has ix prelims, 159 pages, 67 plates and is followed by a new index page.
