Original publisher's dark-red leather binding, with padded covers, the upper cover blocked in gilt, decorative patterned endpapers (spine chipped at head, joints partially split, corners rubbed, inner hinges splitting).
Provenance: Ella Lindstrom (probably of Skagway, Alaska, signature).
A fascinating record of the Klondike and Atlin Gold Rush - this copy belonged to Ella Lindstrom: there is an Ella Catherine Lindstrom, who was a member of a Skagway hotelier family.
