Numerous line drawn illustrations by Benny Gruzin. 24 chapters, including: The Barberton Boom, Roberts Marches In, 1913 - A General Strike, The Rand Revolt, The West Wits Line, Uranium, etc... Book in excellent condition, slight edge wear, page edges browned. Jacket is good, but with tape marks on the inside and on flaps, a very faded spine, and a creased top edge. Large format.
