Booklet, foreword, preface, the ellipitical temple, the valley of the ruins, the acropolis ruins, 2 fold-out plans, places of interest near Zimbabwe, card boards,  86 pages, 145 x 220mm, condition: very good.

The rediscovery of the Zimbabwe Ruins in 1868 was due to Adam Renders, an American Hunter, who unknowingly pitched his camp on the site of these Ruins and stumbled on the most profound mystery of Africa. As the Ruins are quite impossible to describe,  one can only imagine his feelings as he beheld the colossal walls and towers of this long-forgotten city obliterated by time and hidden by nature.

This is a guide booklet put together by the long-term curator.
