Slight foxing. The first volume covers the occupation of Mashonaland, the first Matabele War, the Jameson Raid, and the relief of Mafeking. Vol 2: The Right of the Line, 1903-1939. xv, 244p, b/w photographs. Dust jacket also worn and repaired, has closed tears along edges and paper loss to head of spine. Covers the period of the First World war and German East Africa.
