Small octavo (20 cm) in "thick vellumette paper specially bound", gilt titles and decorations, t.e.g., deckle edges; ten illustrations and two maps. Jessett makes a case for the British to annex the Algoa Bay region, its port and its railway, lest they fall into the hands of the Transvaal Boers. Not in Mendelssohn. Previous owner’s bookplate removed; otherwise a Fine copy.
