The Little Jacaranda Tree

The Little Jacaranda tree, Fifteen Stories for Young South Africans by E.E. Merritt. All drawings and jacket design by Walter Battiss. Jacket has wear and tear, with frayed edges, but overall very good and still attractive and serviceable. Book has shelf wear and a very slight pulling at the hinge on page one, all other binding nice and tight. Overall a very good copy and a lovely example of the early work of one of SA's greatest artists. A must have for the Battiss completest. Previous owner's inscription on title page.
