Dark green cloth boards are shelf rubbed, spines darkened. Gilt titling to spine with gilt bird, still bright. Titling blind stamped to front boards. Corners gently bumped. Boards are nibbled. Foxing to some pages. Binding of both volumes is tight and square. Bottom of page block is untrimmed. Vol I xvi + 287 pages; Vol II vii + 322 pages. Text with some b&w photographs; colour illustrations and diagrams.
