APPENDIX: Constitution of the Orange Free State, Revised and Published 1868, total 86pp. inclusive. Book condition: original green cloth, title in gilt on front board, paper yellowed with age, binding and end-papers good, though some gatherings (between pp.64/65, 48/49, 32/33) are cracked; text is good, with a few pencil notes in the margins and some underlining, three owner inscriptions on f.f.e-p and verso, corners bumped and worn, spine worn. Scarce first edition.
