53pp introduction and life sketch of Rhodes by J. P. R. Wallis, followed by a 2pp chronology of important events during his lifetime, starting from birth of Leander Starr Jameson in 1853 to the death of same 1917.
This is followed by a descriptive catalogue of the Rhodes Exhibition which was held in 1953. It is divided into fifteen sections or periods in Rhodes's life where over 290 items are catalogued.
The final part of this book, starting from page 117 to page 192, is an exhaustive and valuable bibliography, compiled by E. E. Burke, on all publications relating to Rhodes.
