Limited edition printed for private distribution in 1980 precedes the 1981 numbered edition of 300 copies.

The farms Rustenberg-Schoongezicht and Glenbawn nestle in the Idas valley some few kilometres out of Stellenbosch while Vergelegen is situated in the Hottents Holland valley. The first farms were owned by Peter Barlow, and the latter by well-known Punch Barlow.
