This book is being sold on behalf of the Friends of the Johannesburg Public Library to raise funds. Original red/brown cloth boards with gilt titling on the spine and decorative devices on the upper board. Original dust jacket. Maroon coloured end papers. 272 pages including the prelims, profusely illustrated in black and white and full colour. CONDITION DETAILS: The usual library stickers and stamps on the first few pages. The rear paste down has some loss of surface which is not noticeable as it is covered by the dust jacket flap. The dust jacket has reinforcing tape on the under side. Aside from the damage done to this book by librarians, it is a reasonable copy.
